Yesterday we enjoyed the last day of fishing season in the woods at Fishlake falls with our 77 year old sister and brother-in-law.What a blessing to walk through the sun dappled forest and fish at the base of a rushing falls. Nature speaks so softly and definately of the Creator.
There's nothing quite as tasty as fish cooked beside the stream where they are caught. My hubby is the chef. We roll them in crumbled barbequed chips...yum, yum!! The troat in the picture is my catch of the day. The other one I caught was a wee bit tinier.
This blog has been started as a way for me to cope with the loss of my dad, mom and brother and my son. Although our children and grandchildren are very much a part of my life, they cannot fill the emptiness of those no longer here.

Hi Debbie, these are beautiful photos. There are so many gorgeous spots hidden in our province. My brother was just saying that on facebook a couple days ago about Wauklahegan Lake. Looks like you had a fun time and caught a good sized trout too! Blessings, Pam
